Plain-language summary
Castlivo is a player for sources you choose. Playlist details, favorites, and app settings are primarily stored on your device. When you connect to a provider, website, stream host, or casting device, your device communicates with that third party to perform the action you requested. Castlivo does not provide a user account or upload your personal media library to a Castlivo cloud library.
1. Information we handle
To provide the features you choose to use, the App may process the following information:
- M3U/M3U8 playlist URLs and the contents of compatible playlist files you select;
- Xtream server addresses, usernames, and passwords supplied by your authorized provider;
- individual stream URLs, website addresses, catalog metadata, artwork URLs, and playback requests;
- favorites, source names, language, and other preferences saved in the App; and
- local-network information needed to discover and communicate with compatible casting devices.
Imported source records, favorites, and preferences are used to organize and play your media. They remain on your device unless a feature necessarily sends them to a source or device you selected.
2. Third-party source connections
When you add or open a playlist, Xtream service, stream, artwork URL, or website, the App connects to the destination you selected. That service may receive the requested URL, credentials where required, your IP address, device or browser information normally included in a network request, and playback activity necessary to return the requested content.
Those providers determine their own collection, security, retention, and deletion practices. Review a provider's terms and privacy policy before connecting. Castlivo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for third-party IPTV providers, broadcasters, websites, or stream hosts.
Your device connects to the service you choose. Use only trusted HTTPS sources and credentials you are authorized to use.
3. Browser and local-network casting
The in-app browser loads websites you choose to visit. Those websites may use cookies or similar technologies and are governed by their own policies. Castlivo cannot control a website's data practices.
If you grant local-network permission, the App may discover compatible TVs or casting receivers and send a supported media URL or playback instruction to the device you select. The receiving device and media host may process network and playback information. Protected, encrypted, DRM-restricted, or unsupported media may not be available for casting.
4. Data controlled by the developer
Castlivo does not require a Castlivo account for the core playlist, playback, favorites, browser, or casting features described in this policy. Credentials entered for a third-party Xtream service are not a Castlivo account.
If you email support, the developer receives your email address and the information you choose to include, such as device model, iOS version, app version, and issue description. Never send passwords, private playlist URLs, access tokens, or provider credentials in a support message.
The developer does not sell your personal information. If a future release adds analytics, advertising, crash reporting, cloud synchronization, or another developer-operated service that collects additional data, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures must be updated before that collection begins, and permission will be requested where required.
5. Retention and deletion
You may request deletion of developer-controlled support information by emailing nguyenminhkhang9899@icloud.com. The developer cannot delete information controlled by a provider you selected; contact that provider directly.
6. Your choices
- Choose whether to add a source, visit a website, or start casting.
- Remove saved playlists, sources, and favorites through available App controls.
- Manage local-network access in iOS Settings.
- Stop a third-party connection by removing its source and, where appropriate, changing credentials with that provider.
- Delete the App to remove its local app container, subject to iOS backup and Keychain behavior.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the App, but no device, application, network connection, or third-party system is completely secure. Protect your credentials, prefer HTTPS sources, keep iOS updated, and do not import unknown or suspicious files or links. An HTTP source may expose credentials or requested content to parties able to observe that connection.
8. International connections
Providers and websites you choose may operate in countries other than your own. Information necessary for the connection may be processed in those locations under the provider's policies and applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
Castlivo is a general-purpose media player and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Castlivo account because the App does not offer one. Parents or guardians should supervise the sources, websites, and content a minor accesses and review the practices of each third-party service.
10. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when App features, integrated services, or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated where required.
